year abroad

these are a few of my favorite pictures from the 10 months i spent in spain and traveling around europe. there are also some pictures of morocco, too.

i spent my fall break in austin, texas. visiting my brother and great friends. kelley's children are so much fun to play with and photograph! they have so much personality. it's hard to catch them because they are always on the GO, especially apple jack. these are a few of my favorites from the week.

i have no idea what i'm doing.

i like to take pictures but i have absolutely no training or knowledge on how to really use the cameras i'm so lucky to own.

one of my goals in the near future is to really start learning how to take great photos. between dental school and the rest of life, it's hard to really find time to take a class or two to get started.

in the meantime, i'm going to outlet my amateur-ness on this site. i guess i'll throw some of my favorites up here just for fun. another thing i'm teaching myself is the ins and outs of photoshop. pointers are always welcome!
